A DJ legend has left us
« on: January 04, 2021, 11:11:21 pm »
Sadly, I was informed today about the passing of Ian Holmes.

A fountain of technical knowledge, a fountain of historical knowledge, a mentor, a true gentleman.

Rest in peace, my friend.

Rest in Peace Ian....  :'(
Never met you personally but your name in the classic world was revered!
I live in my own world...
But it's ok... they know me there!

"Sparrow" Holmes. Met him a couple of times when he was a guest at the PE Kickstart club. He actually joined the ride one year from PE to the British Motorcycle Association annual gathering at Knysna.

There he was compere and an amusing after dinner speaker. RIP.

Succumb not to the erosion of those born of unconsecrated union.

"Two Wheels, an engine and a place to sit." What more do you need?

2021 a milestone. 60 years a biker.
