FRAME SWOP 1090 TO 1190

Advice please , have a friend that was involved in a accident  with his 1090 , damaged the frame , repaired it , and now it snapped in half again , bit of a wild ride in Lesotho. but that's another story . he could possibly get a 1190 frame , but there is no info as to if it will be a perfect motor transplant . Have asked around but no one can confirm ,And as you might know my Son is a KTM tech , and he looked on the parts system, frames have a different part no , so from that side cant confirm if it will work ,
what is the consensus. will it work or not as they look very much the same .
