DECEMBER 2008 - Winner: kat

Read the rules.

Regulations and tips regarding posts in this board

Please post only ONE image in the monthly picture threads.

The main idea is that YOU take the picture and submitted it. YOU win the prize for the picture because YOU took the pic, not somebody else. Except if your wife or buddy took the picture while you were executing a 30m jump on your behalf with your camera. It must be classified as being your picture not someone else's.

Make sure your pics are large enough to be appreciated but not so big that members have to scroll around to view it all. A good size is between 500 and 700pixels in width.

Please do not ‚??Photoshop‚?? your pics excessively. Colour correction and contrast adjustment is fine but stay away from heavy manipulation like adding or subtracting object from the pics. Keep it as original as you can

Keep your original large resolution image on your computer please! It may be included in a printed calendar and then the image will be blown up to a large size. We need the original high res image for that.

Please only post pics taken in the relevant month. Don‚??t post a pic you took in December 2006 in the May 2007 thread.

Your pic MUST have a bike in it, even if it‚??s only a part of the bike, the shadow of the bike, a helmet or a part of the rider. Do not post pics without any indication that the trip was done per motorcycle.

Please vote! Your vote is very important. The best pics chosen by you will appear in the rotating picture banner at the top of the page and may be selected for a prize. We will vote every month for the best picture. In December all the winners of each month will compete to get a overall winner for the year. The overall winner will receive the prize.

Keep conversations on the threads to a minimum. Compliments are great but don‚??t hijack a thread or fill it up with pointless chatter. Rather start a new thread in the ‚??General‚?? section with a link to the pic you want to discuss it in depth.

The moderator responsible for the board has the final word. He/she may delete your post/image if your pic is posted after the cut-off time, does not meet the criteria pointed out above or any issue that disqualifies you.

Thanks and happy posting
Remember to Vote!!!

I love this pic, it makes me want to go back, just had to share it. Taken at the entrance of the Richtersveld Transfrontier Park, south of Rosh Pinah, Namibia.

Are we allowed to change our mind
(keep it clean and all that)

Swartberg pass turned around to take where we've been, with where we're going in the RV mirror.

There are worse places to lay a bike down.

Walker Bay, Stanford.

I wonder where that road goes? And that, has usually made all the difference. Appologies to Mr Frost
