I am leaving the bike industry
« on: February 02, 2021, 01:13:28 pm »
I have been working in the retail sector for the last 25 years and in the bike industry for the last 12. I think anyone in the retail sector will tell you that it starts to wear you down.

In the last year and a half I have been studying part time and recently I earned my SAS Base certification. With this I have received a job offer with IQVIA to become a Programmer/Analyst.

And so at the end of this month I will be leaving Mad Macs Motorcycles to pursue this new career.

Looking forward to the new challenges.

I am guessing I will have to ask a MOD to change my forum name. And I will obviously no longer be a Vendor. But I will still be around. Maybe ride my bike some more as I will no longer be working Saturdays.  :ricky: :ricky: :ricky:

Dankie Hando!
BoosterPlug, LED Spots, Tool Tubes, RustStop, Kappa Screens, Top boxes, Tank Bags, ATG Gear - whatever works for me.

I have been working in the retail sector for the last 25 years and in the bike industry for the last 12. I think anyone in the retail sector will tell you that it starts to wear you down.

I have been in retail (directly) for less than a year (and that was also not directly client facing unless there was a technical query as I worked in the workshop at Computer Mania)
I had enough of customers then...

Good luck on your new venture !

You have the personality to make a success of anything you set your mind to

Enjoy it

You have touched us and left us better for having known you - even if it was only briefly.

For grabbing the moment and living the day It's been way too early that you were taken away
