Gou spring as julle iets wil koop.

The first time I went to Merweville was in 1990 they did not have Escom in fact I believe that it was the last "white" town in SA to get Escom power . The cafe had an old chev V8 driving a Genny that powered lights in the Village .
I was a student at Saasveld forestry school and we played rugby against the village team .
We went there from George in an old Mossop Bedford bus .
After the toss both teams lined up on the halfway line and walked back to their try line , picking up stones and throwing them off the field .
The coulord spectators had to stay behind the fence next to the road 😁.
The local Minister was one of the locks and complaid about the swearing in the scrums .
I played rugby for 34 years and that is one game and day that will be with me till I am called .
I still go there when ever I can and just sit and remember .

Lang storie kort ons stap die volgende oggend half vier by my huis in!!!!!!!!! :o :o :lol8:
:deal:

I played for the South Africa apprentice side in the 80s. One game I want to forget was when we played against the prisons service at Dornkop , I have never been hit so hard so often , and then been forced to drink more brandy than any sane person could should or would do !

Is jou van Louw, of Lowe? :pot:
