Waiting 7 months now for my order. It has been "shipped" for the last 3 months.

Your order was probably stuck in the Suez canal, but will arrive within the next 2 months....

Waiting 5 months now, not even shipped yet... Apparently a supplier dropped them?

You should all use the same attorney, save costs and give the action more substance

Upon request for update on my order Johan responded with: As per our website there are currently delays.

I recheck the MXAlliance website and could only find the following under Terms & Conditions: Shipping times are normally 8-10 working days from ship out at supplier.
They do state that delays due to strikes and customs are out of their hands, but no warning that this is currently the case.

When I placed my order the items showed as "In stock."

In the past I ordered a lot of items from them with no problem. For a small order of only R3 700 it's not worth getting into argument or take legal action, but this customer is checking out.
Take my advice; I don't use it anyway.

After 7 months the guy informed me that the item is not available and offered a refund. Now he does not respond when I ask for it.

Buyers beware - despite our BEST efforts, we are close to a year down the track, and we cannot get hold of Johann/MX Alliance...

Paid across R7.8K of Flying Brick' monies, in October 2020, and he agreed to import a product for us (for a specific customer of ours), when we enquired, we got a few apologies for some (possibly understandable) delays, B.U.T...

He is repeatedly not answering phone calls, not landline, not cell phone...
repeatedly not responding to e-mails over a period of months...
not responding to his own Website enquiries, requesting feedback/contact..
not responding to WhatsApp messages...

We plan to take legal action against him, in the absence of many, many months of non-communication.
I'll say it again - Johan -  if you have a problem, pick up the phone, and DISCUSS it with me, but do not dodge us.

If anyone wishes to 'join' us in the legal proceeding, please do let me know.
I will appreciate advice on what legal steps I should take to recover the amount(s) owing.

thanks

We are clearly in different parts of the food chain.. I get into an argument over R370, never mind R3700

I requested a refund since I'm waiting since Dec'20 but MXAlliance cannot process due to covid but can respond to mails? I only smell BS.
