Much needed TLC to my old Girl

So while on Our ĎHippy SeekerTripí i made the decision not to replace my Ď06 adv. Rather some TLC. On 120í000 i still have all i need!  Needless to say the when was decided for me when FD main bearing went. So TLC here we come!

1 FD and drivetrain bearings. Wheelbearings
2 frontcover corrosion. New seals. New alt belt
3 sidestand paint. Wow call me if you ever need to remove that bastard
4 polish paint touch up covers
5 centrestand paint
6 Polish engine. Calipers. Frontforks
7 paint panelbeat crashbars
8 headers ceramic coated! Yeah!

What does Buss do if you just plug in LED?

Also some advice. Anybody changed indicators to slimmer LED version? Same Q with  buss?  What where to buy?

I believe that the foglamps are not on the canbus. There is a separate fuse for them. On mine the one died and no warning came up on the display.

Maande daarna sit ons my sidecar aan die bike, Woody draai die sidestand bout los wiggle hom en daar kom hy los!!! >:( :o
Ek dink daai sidestand het Woody se hande bekyk en gedink "man moet nou nie kak soek wat kon gebly het nie"!!!!! ;) :lol8: :lol8:

ha ha moet wees! Dis eintlik eenvoudig maar orals waar ek lees het almal maklike raad maar almal sukkel?? Ek het Ďn slidinghamer geprakseer. Die bush drukvas waar hy deur sidestand moet skuif. Hiite help ook!

makliker as wat jy dink! Besluit net hoe tegnies. Ek het my FD weggestuur. Hetnie self tyd en ervaring. Res v bike is meccano! Bout los! Kry torque settings .... bout vas!! :biggrin: :biggrin:

Vertel so bietjie meer oor item 6 op jou lys, hoe gaan jy te werk om die engine te polish?  EK is self besig met so bietjie TLC op my 2006 GS en een van die goed wat ek graag so bietjie blink wil probeer kry is daai cooling fins op die enjin.

Gelukkig het ek 'n tuin ingenieur wat dit gaan doen. My plan is was met aluminium cleaner. Gebruik autosol en Elbow ghries. Alles mooi oop so hy behoort vordering te maak. Ek moet net eers die timing cover die naweek terugsit voor water kan naby kom.  ;)

Op ander thread het ek al raad gevra oor my speedo wat 2 foutjies het! Besluit om hom oop te maak. Korrosie op pcbord😩. Skoongemaak en weer aanmekaar! Nie Rocketscience! Maar my skermpie se backlights nog af!
