This Friday a simple video of a fun ride to Ridderkerk, where Vincent wanted to pick up a pair of motorcycle boots.

A new Friday video on the Motormobilist channel.
The weather was nice and rain was predicted for the next days so I went for a nice Motormobilist ride along the Kreekraksluizen, through an orange decorated village Waarde, along the Westerscheldedijk and to Motorservice Ossendrecht.
(In Dutch with English subtitles)

This Friday another Motorist solo ride. A ride in the neighborhood on my BMW R1200GS.
A few country roads, a few dirt roads and just a nice ride through the beautiful surroundings we live in. (Noord-Brabant in the Netherlands)

A new Motormobilist video for this Friday.
We, my son Vincent and I, made a motorcycle ride from Hoogerheide to Willemstad. The video was recorded from my BMW R850R and Vincent is riding his BMW f650GS Dakar in front of me. The ride goes through Bergen op Zoom, Moerstraten, Steenbergen and Dinteloord. You will see the ride at double speed. (The video was edited by Vincent)

This Friday video is about a tour on my BMW R1200GS, from a terrace in Nispen, where I had a nice cup of coffee, via the touristic route to Hoogerheide.
In the video I show little maps, showing my route. The video is in Dutch with English subtitles.

My son Vincent made this short video about a truck smashing a road sign while the trucker doesn't even notice!
The video is in Dutch with English subtitles.

Unfortunately , due to a broken harddisk causing video files to be damaged, no new motorist video today.  :-[   :'(

I watched a pedestrian walk into the back of a reversing truck yesterday. The driver didn't see the pedestrian approaching from directly behind and so reversed.

All in slow motion, luckily. The pedestrian was about 20 years old, so it's fair enough, he's still learning about the real world. He won't do it again.

Besides that, though, these Dutch roads are narrow, often not enough space for 2 vehicles to pass each other. I live out in the farmlands and the Dutch tractors are big, with very wide tyres. Overtaking one is taking your life in your hands.

Yip!
Especially when being used to driving on the 'wrong' side of the road

How pretty is the country side, this time of the year!?
I had to drive quite some distance to a decent KTM shop this morning (Zwartebroek) and I didn't mind the distance one bit

Very Pretty .............................. it's fantastic living in the Netherlands 'bushveld'. There are no fences, my garden is as big as I want it.

Lots of motorbikes in this area ...................... on the road as well as a few off-roaders and quads ................... I'm getting really jealous, especially as it's warming up and lockdown is vanishing.

Get a bike and come riding in Belgium.
Have bike, will ride.
