The very best way to get rich is to find something that you will be happy to do for free for the rest of your life, then find a way to make some money out of that.

so just as a matter of interest ..i have googled (great researcher i am) ..utube vlogger earnings..mostly comes from the advertising unless you got equipment sponsors and sales etc..seems to average on the ads at between 2 and 5 usd per 1000 views

https://vlogtribe.com/how-much-does-youtube-pay/

as per youtube young noraly has 867 thousand subscribers ...so presume all 867k and no unsubscribed watch every episode and she gets 2dollars (low end of scale) she then earns around 1734 dollars per episode ..she does around 3 episodes a week so chances are she makes about 5k us a week = 20k a month at exchange rates of 15 for simplicity gives her 300k a month in zar ..she was here 6 months ..potential was over 1.5 million for her time here or 120k usd ...
shew is my maths correct cos why arent we all itchy booting ..ofcourse most people dont have that many subscribers or views

looking at stage 5 of kalahari ok all my figueres out the water ,,,she gas only 200thou views average and some episodes only 100k views ..she has never made 300k views an episode it seems .... but at those figures average 200k is 400usd per episode multiply by 3 is 1200 us a week multiply by 4 4800 usd a month multiply by 6 is 46k us for her time which becomes around 702 thou zar....hmm not too shabby nige...

and of course she may be on 4 or 5 dollars per 1000 views so that figuer of 700k could be 1.4 mill

I read the book of Richard Branson "Screw it lets do it" a long time ago.

He said he never started any endeavor with the aim of making money. It always started from a "lets have fun" point of view and the money followed.

Making money doing those videos looks like bloody hard work to me.  While the rest of us are in the bar sinking some (many) cold ones and enjoying a steak after a long day riding, Noraly is in her room editing and uploading and trying not to be affected by all the bollocks in the comments section from armchair adventurers.  No thanks, see you in the bar, it's my round.  Lyndon Poskitt has the right idea - get someone back at home to knock all the raw footage into a video - good compromise.

Also wondering after some of her footage  in earlier videos riding those bikes, but maybe to tall for her. Weight not an issue.
Maybe  the 300 Honda?

Lets put a money on a poll....I would also vote 300 as the next bike.

I was surprised at the mileage she did. 24500km in about 9 months or 66 pages. not to shabby as it was a lot of offroad.

I think as her riding improves she will realise that how tall the bike is, is of very little significance........ the better you get at riding the bike, the less you have to be concerned about getting both feet on the ground
There is a 36kg difference  between a CRF 300(142kg) and a KTM 500 (106kg)
That is significant.

Poor Noraly.

I already see on here how expectations for her is being raised.

Riaan Neveling and KTM is mentioned. Imagine her filling those "rally" boots.... ::)

I for one, cannot wait to rush up to the Motorcycle Room in Knysna, wearing my ItchyBoots branded top with hoody, to go and look at a CRF250L on display. :pot: :pot:

Due to it's longer travel though, the 500 carries the weight higher up, which cancels a lot of the advantages in real life.

If you throw in technical riding, which Noraly does not do, then only avery good rider, which Noraly is not, will score from the weight saving.

40kg is ook net 'n issue as dit jou pas  :imaposer:
How technical does it have to get for height to be an issue? I'll say it again... as her skills improve (we've seen a massive improvement already) height will become less of an issue and she will start focussing more on a bike's abilities.
