Ok so I know his creations have appeared on WD's a number of times but I have only recently started watching his videos and now I'm hooked. I was surprised how he fixes and tackles projects in the most simple way. So he had to build a stainless steel pipe for a Turbo on a Kawasaki. After he had the templates ready I was sure he would head over to a CNC place to get them cut but no angle grinder and flap disc in hand he got it sorted. Remember when he built a Honda 6 cylinder replica from two FZR250 motors ? I could not believe it when he used a hacksaw to cut a piece off the bottom end ! I mean how straight can that be ? His videos are entertaining as well.

He's imaginative, inventive and brilliant! Pretty handy with the hack saw and no slouch when it comes to ally welding. I admire folk who can deal with 3-dimensional ideas so well. I know I couldn't.

He does have some precision equipment, but mostly features his hand-work in his vids.

Does he ever cook on that barbecue?

4 of his Kawasaki's are in the Barber Museum! Modified doesn't even begin to describe what he did to them.

It would be fascinating to hear him make a video on how he welds 'unweldable monkey metal' alloys. How he makes it invisible, and deals with the inevitable distortion.

He did.

On his video for one of his 6 cylinder 2 strokes I think, he welds the magnesium cam covers by using one of the scrap covers as a source for the magnesium welding wire. He cut strips out to make his own rods (with his hacksaw) that he then experimented welding together. In that way he didn’t have to worry about getting the right alloys as he was using the exact same materials.

He does say that it takes some experimenting as magnesium is tricky and dangerous if heated too much.

I can’t remember which video specifically.

That hacksaw also got me.

I'm going to be in Birmingham, Alabama next month, I'm going to visit Barber for the umpteenth time, I'll try to find the Millyard bikes on display.

I cannot wait to see the completed off-road section of the museum for off-road bikes.

He just posted a vid on running a z9 motor on the back of his van in Henrys farm....I think this vid shows more of his true nature...a naught shit of an engineer with an evil twinkle in his eye.
Some of his more edited stuff can come across a bit odd in character.

I have the same milling machine he has but my hacksaw cuts WAY more skew than his does , I think I need to get it checked
