Only a mother could love something that ugly!
At R 370 k, I can only reckon overweight, rich keyboard posers will ride this!

 :o

ai, statements like this that sommer want me to make debt, buy it, and take you and the transalp in your signature with to Lesotho

live and let live, people are different, if one can afford it and another cant, it doesnt make you automatically a poser

If you pay that kind of money for anything that is no better than what is currently the competition, you won't automatically be a poser. You can also choose idiot, fool or meerkat.

Especially if that vehicle blows up on a demo ride.

i saw that 'blow up'
a water pipe came loose

and you may be right on idiot status as well...that ride was covered in sudden steam and kept on riding...that was shocking.

anyhow, no other cases reported of water pipes coming loose

wrt pay that money compared to current competition....it is same kind of money for the current competition and its on par with what current competition offers. Maybe do your homework first?

Sorry for the late answer, but R370 is not exactly "on par with current competition".  And certainly precocious for a manufacturer that is brand new in this segment. And super-precocious for a

manufacturer not exactly seen as the benchmark in handling or reliability.

It's true, you buy with your money what you want, but that does not erase the idiot factor, as proven by how much more expensive Harleys have always been than their better Japanese competition.

I saw one at Que Sera on Sunday.

I apologise for calling it ugly previously.

It is indeed FUCK UGLY.

Ja but the buyer achieved his goal when you looked at his bike.  Rider vs Poser. Hoover Vacuumcleaner, Hardly Dangerous owners fall in the latter category.  Ek sou 'n Harley koop, maar in Graaff-Reinet is daar nie genoeg mense om te ooh en aah nie.  Die rendement op my "belegging" verhouding is dus t vr uit om sin te maak.

The famous words that Sonny Barger spoke on live TV keep coming to mind.

Demand is already way ahead of of supply in the US as I understand..... good for HD, they need a bike like this, it will do well for them  :thumleft:

I agree! I'm not a hater and will try the new Harley.... the 150 versus 160HP could play a role, but a ride will tell

So they claim

https://advrider.com/sold-out-harley-says-the-pan-america-special-is-north-americas-no-1-selling-adv-bike/?utm_source=newsletter&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=editorial&utm_content=08_31_2021
I can fully understand, it is cheaper and after testing one, better than the competition, well worth it if you earn dollars. Not so much for us poor pensioners... :lol8:
