They do look best in that color. It seems to hide the weirdness best. Like vertical stripes on a fat lady

or is that horizontal lines?

How I almost spat my coffee now.  :spitcoffee:

I should first point out that I can neither, nor want to, afford one of these, I have been in a Harley shop once in my life (to get my boss a bandana), and I haven't really given this thread much attention at all.

But this thing started trending in my YouTube feed for some strange reason, and I started watching some tests / presentations with morbid fascination.

It certainly appears to be a contender amongst the tanks, and I find myself liking it, even the ugly looks.

Would love to ride one, and if someone gave me one or I won the Lotto, I'd certainly make space.

They should've redesigned the front end from the handlebars, then maybe.  Maybe.......

I see the dust coming...
A herd of Harley riders on the R355...
....you have used the WRONG collective noun...

it is a RUMBLE of Harley riders...(think Hells Angels, arriving in a town, the noise those bikes make...)

or a SHINE of Harley riders.....(think of a different group of Harley riders, arriving at Sandton Square, Sat morning, for Cortado's..)

mind you, the HERD i-s appropriate with all the LEATHER-wearing...! ;)

If YOU have an interesting collective noun, then let us know!

Also viewed and sat on one at LDBA. Pleasantly surprised by perceived build quality and overall feel of the bike. Looks a lot better in real life than it does on pics.

Extremely comfortable seat and ergonomics.

Just Blip It trying it out….

Damn you have just brought back memories form Winkler hotel.

Years ago i knew the head chef there and I would ride down for weekends every now and again. We would have crayfish braais in the evenings after a lekker days riding.

Born to lose, live to win!!
