Eastern Cape Roads
« on: February 25, 2021, 12:52:23 pm »
Any Eastern Cape dogs that can provide current information on the state of these roads between Elliot and Cintsa?

I have a colleague planning a cage trip into this area and is worried about the state of these roads. She does not want to encounter pot holes and bad condition tar roads in her car.

Any input would be appreciated.

Thanks in Advance.

Am in Chintsa at the moment. Did pieces of those roads a few days ago, and can vouch for their condition as being pretty good.

The R410 is in excellent condition.
The R409 is also fine until you get to Tsomo town, but improves again once out of town.
The R61 is also good.

Important to watch for stray animals.

Never hesitate to take that ride. Ride safe, ride often and ride far. The soul demands it.
