It is with sad regret that it is time for me to let this reliable beauty go.

It is a 2013 KTM 450 XCW, registered for the road, with rally Lite conversion. I bought it from MaxThePanda late 2015 (here is his full thread on building this Legend - https://wilddog.net.za/forum/index.php?topic=156398.0 ), post him doing the 2015 Amageza on it (he had terrible luck, at which i was his spanner bitch, and I managed to get him to sell it to me, whilst he was still "over" rallies)  :)

I rode the 2016 Baja and Amageza and 2017 Baja. It served me very well (got me a few podiums). I am packing up this fast stuff type of riding and focusing more on the Technical enduro and Adventure riding. It is being wasted by being neglected in the garage. I wanted to do the Kalahari rally for the past 2 years, post Alex's passing and therefore discontinuation of the Amageza's/Baja's, but my life ambitions have changed a little.

I am looking for 65k, including everything I have in my garage, that fits this bike. It has 104hrs on the new trip meter, when I bought it from MaxthePanda the computer was cracked so i replaced it, at that time, it had around 150hrs or so on it (So the motor has 254 hrs on it). I am meticulous in maintenance, oil and oil filters replaced every 10 hours and 20 hours respectively.

Extras:
  • Original Plastics, seat and Tank
  • 20l Litre long range tank
  • Road Book Holder with all controls (dual controls for redundancy)
  • RallyMax and RallyMax G ICO's
  • Heavier springs for the extra weight
  • Standard Springs
  • Slim line Indicators (in hardgaurds), LED headlamps (Proper ones)
  • Registered for the road
  • 5 Airfilters, and some oil filters
  • Quite a few spares
  • Hardly used Rally Michelin Desert Mouses, and tyres are in good nick still (Mitas on the bike currently, used Michelin desert in the rallies)
  • Rally comfort seat
  • Rally bashplate with built in 2l water tank (as per regs) and space for toolkit
  • Top end, Crank, Valves redone before the Baja 2017, done about 40 hours since then
  • lots of spares rally bits, mostly used pieces but Soares nonetheless

Known list of issues
  • Some electrical care is needed (from time to time the road book controls go wonky, indicators don't work/Thumbswitch needs replacing, but be assured wiring is all 100%)
  • Overrode the Key mechanism during the 2017 BAJA, when bike died on me, had a bypass plugin and it worked 100%
  • Needs a new Sticker kit, badly...

Perfect for:
  • Someone who wants to do a rally, but budget has been an issue
  • Someone looking for a reliable, albeit older model bike

NOTE: Pics are Old, as i say it needs a new sticker kit. Bandit Graphix has the design kit for it.

Finance is available is needed.
