I am leaving for a 2 week trip soon and cant decide if I should take it or leave it.

What do you carry and how do you conceil it?
Have you ever needed it or wished you had it with you?
Have you ever wished you had left it at home?
Leaning towards taking it but from experience it can sometimes be an unnecessary complication eg road blocks, banks, restaurants etc
