I've been lurking on this forum for a while now and decided it is time to come out of hiding. After many years of not owning motorcycles (last ones I had were a Kawa Z1R and a XT500 - this gives away my age) I bought myself a BMW1200 GSA. Have not joined in any of the rides as I'm still getting use to the size of the bike and the handeling on dirt (slightly different than the XT).
I'm doing a dirt trip every Sunday morning so if there are any other novices out there give me a shout should you wish to join. Planning to do the gravel highway to Parys this Sunday. My idea is to enjoy backroads and not to do any serious obstacles. Afterall it is a BMW not a KTM ;-).
