Has anyone done the Hogsback Rally Raid in the past? How is it? Looks like fun. Saw the advert for next year and thinking about it.

I did this year's event (1st time for me) and it was properly awesome.
The riding wasn't too technical. There were a few sections that you would need to concentrate but nothing crazy.

Apparently next year they are going into the plantations more so expect more mud and slippery roads.

I did it on a T7 but there were plenty guys on the bigger bikes.

If you do it I can promise you won't be disappointed, I'm definitely in for next year.

What exactly is it? is it like a rally .. GPS trackls.. how does it work. Ive heard a lot about it but never been. Now that I have the Africa Twin I may be super keen.

I did it this year and will be back again next year. Pity it is so far from Gauteng but it's worth it!
