The 390 is manufactured in India. I did a short test ride with this bike and must say it was quite an experience. It is light, goes like hell, was fairly comfortable even for my size (1.83m) and it felt like a real motorbike. It doesn't feel like a thumper at all. I suppose the modern electronics are capable to simulate smooth engine charcteristics. The only down-side were vibrations in the foot pegs at all revvs - not tooo bad, but not to be ignored.

I only rode it on tarmac, but I'd say that gravel roads shouldn't be a problem with appropriate tyres. But hard-enduro: no. Nothing near the Honda CRF Rally.
Only when we pause to wonder
do we go beyond the limits of our little lives.

I have had my 390Adv for a year now, done 22500km, mostly offroad. Been through Baviaans, Hell Se Pad a few times (not Die Hel), lots of Cederberg & Tankwa, many times up and down Gannaga and Ouberg passes, and lots more.
Its an absolute joy to ride, but alas mine has given me endless issues which the dealers are sorting out, but its been a bit frustrating for me. Buddies with the same model are not experiencing any issues at all. Just my bad luck with this one.
If you get one, be sure to take the Quickshifter+ upgrade. Its worth the price.

[EDITED 5 JULY 2021]
Collected my bike today from the workshop and finally, all the issues have been resolved 100%.
Now I am really enjoying riding this bike. None of the issues were serious and the dealer went all out to remedy everything under warranty.
