Grateful is not one of the emotions I would use to describe my state of mind at present.

I can vouch for Morne Jonker. Excellent, honest service.

Lekker thanks Twinman.
He sounded like a nice guy so I paid without thinking twice and later thought maybe I was being naive again.

I bet someone has figured out how to delete the ABS system on those M.Y. 1200's as they did on the 1150.

That's a lot of money to invest in a 2007 just to have ABS, imo.
If violent crime is to be curbed, it is only the intended victim who can do it.  The felon does not fear the police, judge, nor jury.  The felon must be taught to fear his victim.

BMW George repaired mine out for a very reasonable price, not sure how close you are.

I agree. Its half of what I payed for the bike!
When I bought my 1150 the ABS pump was in one pannier. PO had it removed. I gave it to a friend whose 1200 needed a pump. I never missed the ABS.
This 1200 is my first bike ever that had ABS, so I could easily still get along without it.
As it stands the replacement wasnt too expensive, otherwise I would have looked into having it removed.

Jandre Koekemoer in Bellville removed my bikes pump a while back.,  I don't really miss the ABS although it took some time to get used to using front and back brakes..
