Consider giving Adrian a call, he is at EconomTrans, down here in the Cape, ships a good number of bikes overseas, seems affordable, JUST be aware it is not an inexpensive exercise!

How special is this bike? Plenty used bikes in UAE at reasonable prices.

Hmmn, R2200 sounds unbelievably cheap to get a bike to say London; since CPT-JHB is around R2200-R2500 at the moment!

I would have guessed in the GBP1000/ R15-20K range, but will wait and see what transpires.
Cheers

Problem at the moment seems to be capacity.  We've had quotes for flying our bike LHR-CPT at about triple the normal cost for November, in excess of GBP3000 plus fees.  Hoping this will ease if restrictions are lifted cos I can't afford that. Just fewer planes in the air.  For info the return trip by sea is around GBP1350 including port fees, which is about normal.  Would add a +1 for Adrian at Econo Trans, very helpful chap.

I sent  2 BMWs on different occasions  to New Zealand   R25000,  each. They took 5 weeks each.. Just go to your local international furniture remover company .These guys all work together and share a container. When the container is full they send by ship.  Go to Honda and get a steel pallet to put the bike on.  Get police clearance then licencing will remove off the road. I just disconnected the battery and drained the fuel. That's it.
