Nicely done.
Is that a dual filament printer?
Shot, nope normal printer. Just a manual color change at the top.

PLA for now. Have CPE and PETG and PLA plus to use as well, but the PLA is printed with 0.6mm nozzle, and has a very thick outer and top and bottom laters. Almost 100% infill. So will see how these do based on feedback and adjust as necessary.

What infill % I doubt a 3D filament print will have much abrasion resistance. Well done on the colour change ;)

50% to 100%. But I got such thick perimeters and layers that the 50% infill is in reality almost non existent as in not much to fill in.

PM me if you want to see slicer screenshots

I have a set of the GIVI ones on my crash bars , there is two problems re fitting these on the OEM KTM CRASH BARS , 1st is the Givi ones inner diameter is bigger than the bar , had to wrap the bar with tape to have them fit nice , and then 2nd problem is that the fit is a bit hampered , these are made to fit on the straight part of the crash bar ,
Most vulnerable part on the Oem bars is the corner , when the bike goes over this is the contact part and these sliders do not cover that part , now if a slider can be printed that fits on the corner part of the bat it will be a winner.
Send me a pic of which corner, I can throw something together… will check in with @Dish to get measurements and pics.

If you’ve managed a design for the corners let me know please as I would definitely like a set.

I got something going, but gonna take me some time to compare the corners with different KTM crash bars... will be surprised if all is the same...

Still cheaper than R2000 to have your crashbars re-powder coated :thumleft:

Ask me, I know.

Update - I was lucky enough to get a black and white pair from Riaan as well. I initially had the orange ones on, nothing wrong with them but since the 1090 is largely black and white, I changed them around.
Took and old bicycle tube.. cut it up and used that to make them fit snug... They look great and as yet, havent had the need to use them but awesome.
