In the 80 I had a Honda CB 650.Still today I wish I never had sold it.Had to sell it.Was going to the army and it was just standing. What motorcycle you had that you never had sold?

I had the 650C similar to the pic below, that I kitted out with Wedge panniers and a quicksilver fairing. Still kick my arse for selling it  :'(

Where do I start??

My Suzuki GT750's?  The Yamaha RD350B's?  The DT400B? The 250/400.500/750 aircooled Kawasaki triples I owned? That sweet little Suzuki GT380?

The Yamaha RD400 racebike that I put so much effort into?

The 1985 Suzuki GSX-R, what a wonderful bike, even if so thirsty.

The Yamaha XT500's?  The old Yamaha XS650's?  The Kawasaki KR1-S? The Yamaha RZ350YPVS?

Or the wonderful little Yamaha 90cc HT-1 I had in grades 11 and 12, together with a YDS7 250?

There were many more, but hese were the ones I can think of now that I would have liked to be able to keep. BUT....only because they would be worth something today, as I have no misconceptions about what

they were, good in their day, but vastly outclassed today.

I got my first bike in around 1973/4, my Dad bought me a old Suzuki A80 delivery bike, and I have never been without a bike, sometimes more than one, until today.

I have also never bought a bike new, always older machines, which brought me tremendous happiness.

There, I wrote a composition again.

My old XR200 that I bought just when I started farming. It was the perfect bike for sand.

My XR200R ('81)  - the first ProLink that came out, my only brand new bike ever.
I was in Std 8, working in Checkers on the till over weekends to make money for it.

I still ride XR's today - I had a 250, 350, 500 and 650.

There is a nice 400 on Gumtree, and a nice 600 here on WD, I wish:

No other manufacturer has ever managed to offer a package for adventure touring so perfect as the 640 Adventure.

Kawasaki Z1a 900 - What a bike ! The bike that knocked the legendary Honda CB 750 Four off its throne as the biggest, meanest fastest production Japanese bike of the time.
Yamaha IT 465 - Brilliant monster Yam and a handful to ride in technical terrain. My mates with their newly bought KTM 250 's ex Butch Hirsch ( the then importer ) killed me at de Wildt !
Suzuki Katana 1000S - After years of being a one eyed, hard assed Big Kawa fan, I finally succumbed to the stunning multi valve Sword, which was way ahead of its time.
