Thank you Mr. Steffels, it's like. a breath of fresh air to encounter such an honest and true video in our modern world of lies and deceit.

I probably need to hide behind my wall now but I choose the Triumph Tiger 900 over all the ones featured in his video  :peepwall:

…..and I am a lifelong Honda fan  8)

using a 500 for adv, you have to change the oil after every ride.

Oh?
Shit, mine forked then, dayum, I didn't.
Repeatedly so, for almost a week with every day riding in Kaokoland.
Must have done almost 1500kms over several days with the same oil!

So, I'll have to buy a new one - and this then must be a Husky 501 because you did the similar-same in Spain didn't you?
How many hours did you put onto the oil, 15 or 20 perhaps?
Worse still, legend has it that you're not the slowest of the bunch (yeah, a pun, you were alone...), so this must mean a white 501's better than an orange 500!

Right, now pull the other one!
Nothing wrong with something like 10 hours (good) to 20 (max-ish) inbetween oilchanges on a 500, however I'm assuming a proper oil to be used here!

Yes the Spain/France ride had long days. I did about 24hrs in 3 days.
Was a 6 day ride.
On motorex fully synth oil  :thumleft:

And to be honest, I've been adv riding 450's since forever and have never done an oil change during a ride.
From the 10-odd Enduro bikes used for adventure, riding in 11 different countries, I've never had a DNF

I must play the lottery cause according to web-myth I must have the most amazing luck
