On the last day after a great 3 day trip doing just over 1300km (1000km gravel / off-road and 300km tar) I hit "something" that made it into my helmet 130km from home!
We stopped in Karreedow for something sweet and wet when Thump told me that I have something on my cheek so I wet my finger and wiped it off... it was buring but I put my helmet on and off we went. When I got home it was really stingy and felt like bad sun burn on the one side of my face.... I put some cream on and soon it started forming blisters... it was like 25min later and the blisters was massive!
I am sure that the bug had alot of acid in it or something that burned my face badly! It was sore last night but this morning it was fine!
