Moer lekker fietse

Hel, ek het daai fiets baie geniet @Dux. Kyk hoe lig het ons getoer daai dae! 2 x onnies, tandeborsel, spaar denim, 2 x T-hemde, 2 x kouse, en dis dit.  My Hein Gericke leer baadjie was mos "high fashion" vir jol in daai jare. O0 :ricky:

In my geval ook, al my besittings kon op my Bike saamry. My persoonlike keuse sou 1975-1985 wees, dit was 'n Revolusie tydperk onder Motorfiets Vervaardigers. Madness som dit op

When I started riding in the mid 80's I would go riding out in the country for weekends , Cederberg , Karoo  all on my own , I had a  hiking bag from boy scouts , a groundsheet to sleep under ( tied to handlebar and rear carrier ) , sleeping bag , small primus stove and some food  , I slept on the side of dirt roads , sometimes a farmer would stop and chat then I would sleep at the farm , in hindsight I never even had a puncture , just lots of good riding .

The bikes you grow up with will always be up there in your favourites, the next generation may have been better but not the soul. Honda CB750 not much soul, I saw my first Z1 just after launch, it had soul. I had a grungy GS750 Suzuki, she had soul the Honda Twin Cams in 1979/80 ish had more power, but a lack of self preservation is worth 20hp.
The guys say they can do a Pistol on their 3D printer, not impressed I have had a cannon printer for years.

By the way as I understand it, only 3 countries in the World got the Jota, UK, RSA and Aus.

Add at least the Netherlands to that but I think the whole of Europe got them!

Sorry I should qualify that, only 3 countries in the World got the real Jota, with lumpy cams and high compression race pistons, UK, RSA and Australasia, the rest got softer cams and flat topped pistons.  8).
