Alfie says that in his experience 9 out of 10 trips to Lesotho end with something going wrong.

Thats cos his trips involve KTM's.

Sorry to hear about the dudes shoulder, I hate it when that happens!

Amazing! First pictures I've seen of the famous Sani Pass.

Cool report. :P

Bad luck on the down and injury to Jerry. What happened?

Thank you for an excellent report and the pics were just fantastic, that was well worth the wait. Well done :)  :)  :)

would like to take my hat off to the other group for looking after a fallen felow rider and makeing the huge sacrifice to abandon the rest of the ride.
Always comforting to know that if something happens, there are guys that will after you no mater what the costs. :hello1:   :hello1:  :hello1:

well done on the sensibility of the group
IDR, awesome pics and report! would you say that the 3 days were too much of a rush coming from valieland, maybe extend with another day?

No, I think 3 days was just fine - I wouldn't know what to do with an extra day with what we had planned.  In retrospect though, it's a pity that I didn't have a tent, would have LOVED to camp out in Lesotho for a night, in the middle of nowhere.  Wake up to that scenery, sit around the fire making coffee in the morning...sounds great!

Great report.

You would probably find a lot of affirmative shopping if you camped out, unless you had guys on guard duty.

...........and let's hope the locals didn't set your bike on fire during the night, like they did with that AT & Tiger.

Nice pics & report.
