It's been a while now that I have noticed the fences of our small farm is squeezing down on me!!! I had to get out the gate for a while. Told the powers in charge of me I would not be here the following week. Her answer was " who is going to ride with you?" My answer was I thought Me, Myself and I is enough people to ride with me!! :lol8:
It seems "we" were enough people so I got handed my pass card!! I was not allowed to pack my camping gear, eish this woman knows me too well!!! ;D :lol8:
The saterday I wanted to leave there was a very strong westerly wind blowing and rain the whole day. Sidecars and wind are not friends unless it is from behind and this wind would have been slap bam head on!!
Sunday I got to leave ready and packed!! :thumleft:
Only stopped for fuel twice and once before Gouda for a leak.
Had a great visit at the mayor of Gouda and his misses VaalBaas and VaalNooi. Arrived late afternoon on JJR's farm north of Porterville. We went for a drive to look at his wheat harvest, he started his sunday afternoon drive vehicle for me his 19voertsek Allis-Chalmers perfectly restored and starts on the first swing!! :drif: :drif:
He even has a couple of kameeldoring trees on his farm for sure something rare in this area!!!! :thumleft:
A braai was on the cards and his grilled bread found my special place on my tongue twice!! :thumleft: :drif: :drif: :drif:
