All Tech Guys, please help.
When sitting on the bike and pressing the handle bars alternately down left and right, there is play up and down. Hope I am explaining this correctly. I am concerned about this. It does not seem to be natural or is it normal. I bought the bike second hand. 2005 model with 54K on the clock.
Is it that the top yoke main bearing needs replacement. I took the plastic covers of to expose the centre bearing as well as the two caps over the nuts where top of the forks bolt on. It looks like there is play.
Is it something I should worry about? Is it serious? Is it a major job to replace the bearing? Please give advice.
