As usual, the ride planning commenced only a day earlier.
Slick phoned and asked if we would like to join them to a "newer" venue and it only took a few calls and our group was assembled :thumleft:
The ride today would be in Kwa Mahlangu which is the area north of Pretoria, west of the Cullinan district.
We had a rather hectic ride in De-wildt last week and were looking forward to slightly easier day. This was, as we very soon discovered, not to be >
Arriving at the parking area just after seven and kitting up
AdventureMX, as usual, showing us his designer rods
My 200 had gone in for some maintenance which included some bearings, oil seals, brake discs, exhaust packing and some new rubber. Nice job AMX - looking sweet

First time here and the area is really beautifull at the moment

The riding was really hectic and technical and soon we found ourselves sweating like miners in the hole.
Attie was on his "new" KTM 525 and he (including some of us) was really battling with this big bike over the rocks
Tocadisco testing Attie's new ride - but I'm sure very happy to be on a 200

Just another little nuisance. > > > The rocks were very slippery which made assistance almost a neccessity
Happily we exited the rivine and entered the grasslands
Another brief rest break ;D
On the way again and exploring :thumleft:
Jaghond had a nasty fall here, but credit to him - after getting his breath back, we were on our way again
Downhill and back into the rivine again

A lekker, rather technical ride but enjoyed by all
