Oom Watty why you not have any panniers made for you? Barton says he has a mate who does them?

And what do you think of that Djebel I'll be getting now? Hvae you ridden it with that pipe and bigger carb?

Got a topbox and a tank bag that is sufficient for my needs.  Lekker Djebel daai  :thumleft:.  Have not ridden it, but did see it in action (Barton and his laaitjie as pillion), no problem!.  Go look at this Ride Report Diepspoor @ Vaalpadskloof revisited

Here are the two Djebels leading the pack during that week-end  :mwink: :mwink:

You just made my day. I've been using one of those Tusk tankbags on my quad for about 4 years and wondered if it would serve me as well on the Djebel. It could not go on the tank of the CTX

Just to let you guys know, if you need aftermarket exhausts made, here in Cambodia they produce them for 40 bucks. Any style. They are very nice, and not crazy loud and the quality seems to be great. I am in the US right now, but will be back in Cambodia on the 20th and will shoot pics over to anyone interested. They can copy and make anything over here dirt cheap so if you guys need parts let me know and I will see what I can do.

I am bringing back a ton of parts from the US that I couldnt find over there...oil and air filters, etc. But body parts, they are quite good at making.

Tancred PM Watty it is his bike if I am not mistaken. He will have details of the tyres.

My new Djeb does not give me the option to switch off the lights. Does your battery last or what do you guys do?

Those tyres are Bridgestone BATTLE WING BW201/202. Desined for on-off dual purpose use. Specially-developed compound and tread pattern provides long life and high speed stability.   Info link at Bridgestone

Have taken me on all types of terrain as depicted below.  Only had problems in sand and mud (obviously they are not knobbies  :mwink:).  Very durable - in the photo above the mileage was already over 15 000 km and plenty of life remaining.  I have however changed to Dunlop D606 tyres which has a more aggressive off-road pattern.  Bottom line, if you are going to commute mostly on hard surfaces (tar), an excellent choice.

when just switching the ign. on, the lights don't come on. only ones you've started the bike. if you then switch the engine off with the KILL-switch, the ligths stay on.
understand?

cheers and enjoy
