Awesome awesome ride!
Thanks Andy & co for the effort on this one.

The ride up that first mountain was fantastic!
Wouldn't have minded doing it over and over again!
What great fun!

Just took a couple of piccies - didn't have much time in between the sweating.
Amazingly I'm not sore this morning..

And no, Kamanya wasnt resting, he was siphoning fuel for Wes

Hey Andy what a fantastic ride you planned!  man that was the worse track that I have ridden in my few months off-road. I hadn't expected such deep sand in the cut-backs and so steep as well ! I was wide -eyed with wonder  :o at the hectic track and respect for the awesome ability of you guys  :hello2: . I was inspired to go home and start saving for knobblies straight away and to start practising !!

What a nice bunch of guys you all were !!, and esp thanks to Kamayana, KTM bigger and Pantsula for the help .  :love10: :love7:

ps see you soon on a less hectic ride :)

pps why don't you come to Nelsons Creek this week-end , the orange ride is also quite tough going up and down a steep mountain near Wellington and then there is the 'dreaded' red route , only for smaller bikes as its soo hectic !

The Nelsons Creek thread , hope to see some of you there, its this week-end coming . The rides are through some of the most awesome scenery , special permission had to be obtained from farmers. I am soo sorry , but won't be doing the difficult orange as it's too hard ( too steep) but it's apparently spectacular! I will be doing the easier green route which is a good second best ,   but the way some of you guys rode I'm sure you will be able to do the 'dreaded' red route !! >:D

otherwise see you soon on one of your rides  ;)

Nice one guys. It's a real pleasure to ride these awesome trails with such a lekker bunch of Dawgs.
Don't think I'm not the only one feeling it today  :-[ ...The decent down the second mountain happened to grab my front wheel and give my shoulder a lekker workout... Alison-the-Punisher (aka physio extraordinaire) is not very happy with me  ;D

Well worth it!!!!

A quick reminder... Please be aware that the farmers have asked that we 'rest' these trails up the mountain in order to avoid too much erosion with the next rains.  :deal: This means these trails are now officially closed till next summer. Those with a good memory, or a handy GPS, please don't succomb to the urge to go revisit or guide your mates through these trails... XT660R has done an awesome job of establishing good relations with many of the farmers around CT. Let try and support this.  :thumleft:  ...And there's just too many other virgin trails to go explore anyway.

Bonova, it may have been KTMBigger... I believe he has a few in the garage.  :ricky:

3 = interspersed with sand, mud, sand , bush / not pillion friendly
4 = lots of sand, technical riding
5 = expert only (we are not worthy, still to meet one)
