Superbike's Big Enduro's...WTF?

Superbike March Edition...Features an 'Adventure' bike test, BMW 1200 GS, Moto Guzzi Stelvio, Triumph Tiger 1050 and Moto Morini Grandpasso....Now this is what blows my mind, Nowhere do I see pics taken on dirt, all the riders are in full leathers, knee sliders and all, the Moto Morini is not available in SA afaik, the Moto Guzzi maybe, and the only true adventure bike in that pack is the BMW. The Triumph by Triumph's admission is a FULL ON road bike, and yet it WINS........the best adventure bike of the bunch......WTF!!!!! The Triumph is a lekker bike, but 17" wheels front and back, an airscoop instead of a belly plate.....where do they get the idea this is an adventure bike?
Now maybe the poms have a different idea of what constitutes and adventure bike, given that there aren't many dirt roads on the island, but this is SA.........we have dirt roads.....
How are we supposed to identify with that test??????
