..ratbike.org...
« on: February 24, 2009, 11:08:03 am »
Found this on ratbike.org, its a post-apocalyptic styled R1100 GS, I think it looks cool (very anti-establishment, especially for a BMW).

Don't waste any more time.

There are no short cuts to anywhere worth going!
Performance is paramount, niceties only exist if it doesn't affect performance.

Don't rush it, it's helmet time you need, not a destination. Take it easy.

Although has anyone watched mad Max in recent years?

If you carry white chalk with you, you can use the whole bike as a note pad. Nice for all the fuel consumption calculations, scoring the number of cage mirrors smashed on the Ben Schoeman, etc. ;D

Nice, it looks like an attempt to get the rid of the poser image and give new meaning to move to the dark side  ;D  Interesting though the choice of the painted badge used by german military planes and vehicles from second world war.

I may be wrong but that Cross was used circa WW1 as well and is also now being used by today's Wehrmacht. Not the swastika though, das is verboten.
