You did Nico Malan Pass. New Katberg Pass is between Katberg Hotel and Whittlesea (Whittlesea previously known as Bulhoek - yes the Bulhoek rebellion due to a religious sect in the 1920's. Jan Smuts got a lot of flak)
Great RR!

Does Katberg Pass go from Wittlesea to Seymour? What Pass did I ride then?

I'm planning a foray into that area again soon.

Thanks Thump. It runs between Wittlesea and Balfour. My mistake.

On my way to the Hogsback Bash I rode Katberg Pass and I believed it to be one of the worst I've ridden. Now I see the bad part was not part of Katberg at all.

See on this screenshot. There is a road that turns West out of Katberg Pass and runs along that valley. That is the bad road I was talking about. What is that road called?
That is Dewaalskloof, goes to Groenkop and to Waylands (nice country lodge)
