Yo all adventures
I have been doing research with regards to crash bars. I love my bike and yes it vibrates but I don't really care it is the bike for me.
does anybody know of crassbars lying around that i can buy for my 640 KTM. Now you might ask why crash bars well i'm not in the illusion and i will never fall. It is does protect etc. hell if you know of somebody that can make them it will help. i live in Blouberg
please help.

I heard the crash bars cost like R6500. I found a guy in the UK that makes the Kevlar Tank covers and I'm ordering a set of those. They are like R2200 or something. If you want PM me and I'll see if I can get you a pair

Performance is paramount, niceties only exist if it doesn't affect performance.

Don't rush it, it's helmet time you need, not a destination. Take it easy.

mmmm.    Last time I enquired there (January?) KTM did not sell them. The last ones they had were Hepco & Becker @ R 4800, and on the 640 they tend to suffer from the vibration.

So let's see what we can get.......

Bakkie can you give us an update on the plastic tank covers?

Hyde apparently don't do them anymore.

Was fully committred to Krauser bars but they don't fit with a high mudgaurd. Proven ??? >:D

Thinking of making a rough canvas tank cover that can hold a few litres of water.
