Nice ride report and pics, ladies...and Malibu  It really looks like you had a blast  :thumleft:

Next time, maybe consider taking someone along who's a total n00b and see how much they can teach him in a day. I'm sure you can come up with a name at short notice. :deal:

True...but then I don't have any offroad kit anyway, so it's not like I'd be there in oversized MX gear  ;)

You're right, these are high performance machines, not to be taken lightly, only topped up lightly...

Excellent girls ... sounds & looks like you had a great time.

I'd like to echo what Malibu & Misty said ... Hoofseun is a brilliant instructor & he really makes an effort to help you correct things you are doing wrong.  :thumleft:

Here's some pics of my dual-purpose training experience with the Honda Adventure Academy

Throttle control & balancing - yeeehhha some circus trick attempts

Emergency breaking

Throttle, clutch, breaking & body weight control - note Hoofseun's attention to detail, showing the way

And then the sand monster .... he makes it look so easy  :o

I had to go down at least once

And a group photo of all that participated on the day

Speaking of sand .... are we still going to do some sand training at some stage or have I missed it?  Been so busy & not had much time to chat/surf on WDF.

Dakota broke her collar-bone, which will delay us getting the sand-training done...

As soon as all is go for her... we'll organise!   :thumleft:

I'm sooooo Yealous, this looked like good fun.  I did the course with my Africa Twin last year, but battled quite a lot since the bike is a bit too heavy for me to do the slow stuff....  but I can vouch for hoofseun, he's a fantastic instructor.

So now that you've all learned all the skills, you can come and visit us in Barberton where we've just bought the Gold Nugget Guesthouse.  We're moving in next month and want you all to come visit.
