As the work situation was starting to look rather dismal in the Cape I decided that it was time to head back home to KZN, luckily I had to get my bike back too so a little tour was on the cards.
After a bit of looking around WD and Google earth a rough route was planned. First day would be a bit of an iron but ride, Blouberg - Grahamstown all along the N2 (at least it is a pretty stretch highway)
Day 2 is where the fun started. The plan was to take as many dirt roads as possible so it was a quick ride to Fort Beaufort then up Katberg pass, down Devils Bellows then to Queenstown
