I recently tested a 1200GS with a 21' front conversion done in Paarl. I saw a different thread on this forum and thought this might interest some of you. Nicky and his father Klaus Lutzeler tells me they take a new rim of a R80 , fit your hub to it and manufacture a replacement fitting where the mudguard bolts unto. I am impressed with the quality of workmanship. I am not affiliated to them at all. If interested, phone them on 072 605 0727 or 083 232 9371.
I tested it on the sandy pacthes at Nelsons Creek and I am impressed.
