Head of local Yammie dealer phoned 15min ago , finally launch date for the new Tenere's have been announced . 30 Units will definately be available in October :thumleft:
They had a launch at Swartkopf-raceway this morning . According to him the bike is super smooth with awesome suspension .
He took the brand new bike up to 170km/h easily on standard gearing with panniers and topbox .
Pricing in the region of R85 000 to R90 000 .
Mine is already on order , INSOMNIA here we come !!!!! ;D
Definately no plans for a 1200 Tenere at this stage . According to Yamaha their target market are off-roaders and overlanders , of which both prefer lighter single silinder bikes .
