After a great lunch and coffee we sneaked off ahead of the main group and really enjoyed the area

Throttle Jockey was still amazed and never really got over  how awesome my bike is

The section up to Wupperthal was amazing and we were loving it, I was worried about the sand monster we were told about, but it never seemed to show its face.

Edgy spotted this boot on top of the rock

The front group with Leftless and Giraffe caught up to us and we jumped in the back and did some awesome playing

And then for a quick stop to cool off a bit

We then all rode down to the regroup point and we were enjoying the pace and the terrain tremendously.
After the regroup we once again forged on ahead

And we were treated to lovely high speed gravel but we still had to keep stopping to take the in sites

On the way back I decided to pop across to Lamberts Bay as J had never been there

The word Misluk comes to mind

On the way back I found a nice 48 Chev Bakkie and a Chev SS

We watched the sports

The wild Cat’s stole one of Mello Yello’s Snoek and had a feast

We Braaied and then joined the festivities

Mullet Man was one of the highlights of the trip for me and had us in hysteric’s

We eventually got back to the chalet and after a little kak praat went to bed very content

Day 4

The Trek Home

Sunday we were up early and packed and on our way quiclkly as we had a long way to go

We hit a couple of cold patches where the temperature went as low as 4.5 degrees

After Breakfast and Coffee  in Worcester we decided to make a quick stop at the Karoo Saloon where I fell in Love with Lucy

The Klipdrift tree

Willy the owner of the Karoo Saloon
I will definitely overnight here sometime as the facilities are awesome and very well priced with great company.

We then made the obligatory stop at Ronnies where Mello Yello was waiting after we had repaired Throttle Jockey’s puncture.

From here we rode fairly briskly to get home, Edgy and Throttle Jockey decided they did not want the weekend to end and went on to Knysna Whille Mello Yello and Myself pushed Home.

This was truly a fantastic weekend and there is nothing I can fault besides Big Dom’s accident
The organization was fantastic, the venue great and the company was excellent.
The WC WD’s are truly an awesome bunch and I can not thank you guy’s enough for the hospitality.
I also discovered that Mark Hardy is not a Hooligan it is only a rumour  >:D

As can be seen the officers at the road block were kind enough to clean my number plate as it was totally illegible from the Spray and Cook.

Above and waaaaaaay beyond the call of duty!!  :laughing4:  Awesome, awesome report and photos - really enjoyed it!  Thank you for sharing.

It's a friggin' motorcycle, it's not supposed to be comfortable, quiet or safe. The windnoise is supposed to hurt your ears, the seat should be hard and riding it should make you scared every now and then. Suck it up. -- Scary Gary Mc
