Ok, update...

We have a number of locations to scout out next week, Gunda's old family farm has a number of unique areas, BeemerMike's suggestion - Danielsrus game farm is to be checked, Adventurer's spot on the Vall River, Kalahari Oasis suggested by Dakardrix... and then the area south of Bethlehem as suggested by HentieBM.

Shooting starts this weekend, the girls have been scouting already this week for those shots.

Bikes being offered for the shoot include, Hoofseun organising a Honda, Pistol has offered 2 bikes out of his stable, Hentie obviously offered his battleship, Adventurer has a number of bikes that he can organise for the shoot including his own, and Dappermuis has offered his KTM640 which we have plans for already!

Thanks guys for all your input... it is very appreciated!   :thumleft:

Keep going...

Hi Malibu,

Dates and general area?

If dates are good my Aprilia Caponord could be available, but I'll have to ride it there. Want mud on it?  :ricky:

Ok guys, we have a meeting tomorrow with all the participants... final locations will be selected, bikes required will be selected, etc... expect full report back next week!

We are very serious about this project and are still on the hunt for locations... images that typify the African experience... so please guys, rack your brains for that one spot you remember that was truly special, deserted and close to Joburg...

Your KTM would be swamped in the decor... and I though you were proud of it!

Instead of painting your bike "cammo" you changed your room!   :imaposer:

You volunteering to be my man slave, down in the dirt for the photo shoot... I need my foot to rest on something...  >:D

Ok guys....

Next update...

Had a very successful meeting on Saturday... all is looking terrific.  We have been able to extend our range for the photography, so we have weekends allocated for trips to the Eastern Free State, Mpumalanga, Limpopo and North West provinces...

All the girls have confirmed that they will be doing the shoots, and they seem to be very excited about all this...  our Film crews, lighting, power, 4x4's, make-up people, bikes required, etc are all arranged and back-up plans are in place.

The hunt for sponsors is being very well received by a lot of parties, and we are looking forward to having the 12 pages allocated to sponsors fairly soon.  All you guys hovering on possibly being involved, please contact Misty, we'd rather have WD's in this than the other companies that are showing a lot of interest.

All in all, this looks as though it's going to be a very successful project for fund-raising for PAW.

Those of you that offered bikes, locations, etc, we shall be in contact personally to arrange final details, etc. Thanks guys.
