Leftless called me during the week and suggested we go and take a look at the Oudekloof Pass , thats the original 1658 pass into Tulbach.
The original name was the Roodezandt-Pass first travelled by Pieter Potter ,3 Manskappe en 2 hottentotte.

We made our way to Riebeek Kasteel , had coffie and refueld , then made our way down some dirt roads to Gouda.There we went to the farmer to ask permission to go across his land and up the pass.
What a nice guy , "Sure, no problem " and we were off.
Wayneh and our old reccie team had been here before and met up with the farm machanic.
Today we went to the same machanics house to greet him and let him know that we had perrmision from the farmer to be there.
