Yamaha TTR 230 or Honda CRF 230 for lady rider.

Please girls (and guys) which bike for a lady rider with very limited gravel exp.
Also had a look at the TW 200 but its a bit pap.
Both bikes the same price with road kit fitted (R29 000)

Also researched these two bikes a while ago.
They appear to be very much the same.
So do you prefer blue or red?

If the lady has got longer legs why not consider the TT250R / TTR250 ?

There is a thead on here somewhere.
I also rode with a father/son who had these bikes, Dad on red, son on blue.

They both agreed that the blue one felt faster and that parts for blue were a lot cheaper.

They are almost identical , but somehow the Honda seems to be more popular .
Personally I can recommend the CRF . I had one , and it is a great little bike .
Cheap to maintain , easy to ride , and great fun in the technical stuff .

Take the yamaha, only reason. . . Parts prices, yamaha is much cheaper.

The DR200 might also be an option. Mrs Le Cap started on one. Very nice little bike. More power and much better suspensions than the TW.

I had a CRF, low seat hight and lots of torque, very confidence inspiring. It's like a little tractor, just turn the throttle and start climbing them hills  :ricky:
