Gstry, what is your intention...going inland of course? Time/duration?

Snapper. what do you have in mind.

I'm definately in for one of them.

Mark, will be good to meet you, sure that'll happen soon! Where do you think you'll settle....have you sussed out my neck of the woods...up here in the "mist belt"?

The ride will be to Lilani Hot Springs.  Basically inland from Ballito to Glendale, along the Umvoti river.
To Lilani Springs from Umdloti and back via the tar, is roughly 5 hours. 7 hours coming back on dirt.
Hope a couple of you can make it.
Bring a pair of baggies for a quick soak in the hot pools.

Bit long for me for this Sunday...will have to pass. With my travelling from 'up north' it'll turn out to be about 8 hours plus.

Lilani Springs...nice...seen pics of it!

hi Guys, good plan to have our own KZN bash. Please just not next weekend. My parents run the Salt rock caravan park and I could arrange a special price. Camping or 50pppn in the back packers unit. just an idea! another option is somewhere in the berg, the manager at the Drakensberg Sun is a keen GS rider.

If we looking for a place for a bash mountainman is selling his farm in Elandslagter ( very central)  and that would be a great place to have a BASH before it goes

Bllllliksem, all this sudden activity...must be the migration of the Gautengers and Capies getting some life into the lazy KZN'ers!!!!! :deal: :pot:

Mark....the Kloof, Hillcrest area is the mist belt, although we're only about 30 kays from the sea, we're almost 600m above sea level.

Chicco, where is Salt Rock caravan park? We're lonnnnng overdue to dig out the camping equipment...

The Salt Rock caravan park is 7Km north of Balito at the Salt Rock hotel. Learnt how to ride on the sugar farms around that area. :ricky:
