Yeah its a tough one, going up to Tiffindell for the winter ski season. Worse places to be but the boss has stipulated that there is no way that i'll be allowed to ride

At least i'll get the chance to give the area a good looking over from the air cause i can always go back in summer!

Interesting! I've cycled past Tiffendell on the Rhodes mtb ride. Would dig to go back there....up from the McClear side.

What happen at woodstock today did they get it out

Not too sure what was happening at Woodstock today, took some of the SAAF guys across with inflatable rafts to help out but they could only find floating debris while i was there. I think that they have located the main part of the fuse today though. Will ask the guys i flew yesterday for info and let you know.

It is amazing riding area but as I'm the only driver on site they don't want me on a bike

It's super cold there at the moment anyway so I'm not too upset about not taking the bike. (well thats what I'm telling myself anyway!)

Going to have a couple of drinks at Dragons tomorrow night if you're keen?

I live in the Hillcrest area and spend some time on a KDX in Inanda, I have just bought a KLR 650 and am busy riding it in...

Sorry if I sounded a tad aggro there, but I've been mountain bike-less for the last two weeks...and please understand that she is my other baby...so I was errr... somewhat distressed. Anyway, got my re-furbished forks back last night (R2.5k...FFS

) so klapped Giba Gorge this morning. Knobbly tyre therapy always makes me feel alive...hee haahh!

ps frikkin steerer tube loose in crown (triple clamp) and R1.9 to replace the two as a unit - but let's face it...you DON"T want THAT failing on you when hard on the brakes at the bottom of a downhill at about 35 km/hr..or any speed for that matter.

Husky....shout if you want to do a Sunday late morning or even afternoon quickie...after your 21st pow-wow..

Yip, going for a ride with some of the local boys, haven't met any of then yet and have no idea where we are riding, soit should be an interesting day
