Yesterday on the Ben Schoeman towards Jhb a superbiker tried to kick out my cars mirror since I didn't allow him enough room to pass. Roadworks equals no space for moving OUT OF THE WAY. Eish...I was disappointed since I travel mostly by bike and always defend my fellow cavemen/woman on two wheels when motorists slander us. For this guy on his GSXR1000 with no plate be careful cos jy gaan nog jou gat sien. Unfortunately he will not read this since Wild Dogs are DECENT people.

Ja, reason why I don't like calling myself a "biker". I've been told in Oz they distinguish between "bikers" and "bikies", the latter being the unlawful, gang-hanging type. Has anyone come up with a name for the better sort of motorcyclist?

I dont think you should ever try ride a biker off his bike. Even if he is being a tosser.

Things like this make my blood boil - we work so damn hard to work up some goodwill so that cagers will give us a break - then some guy goes and with one run up the highway, manages to get everyone p!ssed at bikers for weeks to come - and then we wonder why some people wont give us a gap....

I posted this on TB - without mentioning names - hope the guy sees the post - I would love to hear his view !

Some days I wish all the twits would have this huge pile up that would remove them permanently from the road... then I remember I can be twit as well! But the habitual twits should be removed imho...

Twits !! Sometimes these oakes with their lack of experience dont know how to lanesplit..... think the whole road belongs to them and speeding between cars is fine.......... just wait for them to see their @rse..

Mirrors have a way of biting the foot that kicks them. Natural selection sorts these guys out, just too bad they taint our reputation in the process.

Once as kids we were up and down the road on a KDX, this neighbour runs out his garage and throws a 27mm spanner at us shouting:" There are kids playing in this street..."

I think you should ride 200kph to catch him and then when you do you should give him a stern lecture on riding ethics.
