I suggest taking the Sunday paper with you. That Husky is gonna give you long arm syndrome. Plenty krag!
No problem with reliability.............Husky also make sewing machines,and my missus says they don't ever drop a stich

The rear on the XR is not too bad. Can be set-up without any major work on it--unless you are over 95kg. My rear suspension was set up fine until i re-valved and re-shimmed the front forks. When i got them right (Went for a Enduro set-up.)
I had to tweak the back one to get the sag right. Just test it until you get it sorted to your liking. The front--springs aint going to do it. Had to do my XR400 also when i had it. Makes the bike a pleasure to ride then---She floats

Thanks, my experience as well, the fork springs were stuffed and was the primary reason for the Eibach springs. My next step is to sort out the stack, like you said, now is the time to tune and test.

Get Racetech Gold Valves to tune your shim stack.
Can set really well and comes with full charts for shim tuning.

How can you even compare a 650 desert racer to a modern 450 mx/enduro 4T ? Totally different bikes. All that power from a 450 comes at a price. I like the Husky, nice bike Blazes
