My 1200GS I bought at 10,000kms and the clutch has always been pathetic - slips after a little work so I’ve had to baby the bloody thing - Dealer said "normal" Yeah right!!!

Anyway did country trax course a few weeks ago and had to cut short some of the exercises (slow Race etc.) with the smell of clutch so intense I was waiting for it to break! (all the other 1200's - No Problem)

Now, last week I noticed that as soon as I pull the lever it starts disengaging – no travel. If my clutch was going I would expect the opposite to occur – Lever to travel closer to the handle bar before disengaging?

The lever travel adjustment screw is all the way out so thats not the problem. Is there an adjustment? Is this because the clutch is going?
I’d appreciate advice before I take it to my “Sorry its out of Warrantee BMW Dealer”!

And worse case - If I need to change the clutch where do I take it?
