this idea started about a year ago. love my g/s very much but that original sub frame and rear mudguard ext is just to much. the raer wheel eats away at the mudguard like a jack russel to a bike seat.
the idea comes from the q tech guys in germany, but that is just to much money.
so got a good friend of mine to help me build a new sub frame ( as my welding is baddd!!!) , with was based on the 300exe ktm raer plastic.
the images added is a cell phone photograph - sorry.
in the mean time i found an old r100rs motor with carbs, - no oil cooler thou- and had the guys at bavarian in pta fit and engineer the 1000 pieces on the original r80 block.
and so the big rebuils started.
if anyone is interested in the rest of my "clever" idea i'll be back.
