Short quick ride KZN
« on: October 21, 2006, 02:43:48 pm »
This morning Hein and me went for a quick ride, getting worried that things will rust if we do business in Johannesburg and let the bikes sit in the garge all the time.  Just a short little outing, but the incredible landscape after the good rain during the week reminded me again why we live here.

Without the rider, it looks quite sexy....

Some good flow at the waterfall following the rain

Tunnel dark and rocky inside, no time for eyes to adjust to the dark - always some "pay attention" stuff - who's coming from the other side??

If it was not for the sharp corner just before the railway, we could have bunny hopped it, but we stopped.

Good to be out there!

Dam is full because the waterfall is flowing so nicely.

Shady spot at the quarry

This is a great training / playing ground.  We came over the back and down the track along the edge on the right.

Stopped for a beer at the Harley shop on the way back.

Where else can 75 km and 3 hours be so much fun!!

Riding a bike is not just about riding the bike....
Do not believe everything you think....
